Gender Equality Council Member to Advocate at UNHRC Session, Geneva
At the 110th session of the UNHRC, Legislative Director Elizabeth Laferriere will advocate for U.S. compliance with economic protections for women under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). Ms. Laferriere will educate UNHRC delegates on the legal and social situation of women workers in the United States with help from the Department's Report on Sex-Based Discrimination in the American Workplace.
